Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) and Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) have announced a strategic collaboration to deploy the cutting-edge ‘Helios’ rack-scale AI architecture in India. The 200MW infrastructure will accelerate sovereign AI initiatives and enterprise-scale adoption, offering advanced compute capabilities for industries including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, and government AI projects.
TCS, India’s leading IT services provider, and AMD, a global leader in high-performance computing, are partnering to introduce the state-of-the-art ‘Helios’ rack-scale AI architecture in India. The initiative, executed through TCS subsidiary HyperVault AI Data Center Limited, will deliver a 200MW AI infrastructure designed to meet the growing demand for sovereign AI factories and enterprise-scale adoption.
The Helios platform will be powered by AMD Instinct MI455X GPUs, EPYC “Venice” CPUs, and Pensando Vulcano NICs, integrated with the ROCm software ecosystem. TCS will leverage its expertise in data center engineering, integration, and enterprise deployment to ensure seamless adoption across industries.
This collaboration is expected to significantly strengthen India’s AI ecosystem, enabling faster deployment, improved operational efficiency, and real-world impact across multiple sectors.
