TCS Rolls Out ₹40,000 Bonus to Fast-Track Senior Hiring Under ‘Quick Joiner’ Plan

Making a determined move to accelerate talent hiring, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has rolled out the Quick Joiner Incentive Plan, which offers a ₹40,000 incentive to each senior hire who reports to TCS within 30 days of receiving an offer.

But here's the twist: the bonus isn't rewarded to the employee—instead, it's paid to hiring agencies that recruit senior professionals within the aggressive deadline. The program will reduce offer dropouts, speed up onboarding, and recruit specialty skills in areas like cloud-native apps, endpoint security, Microsoft 365, and AI-powered enterprise software.

To deliver quality, the bonus is linked with a retention clause—if the candidate switches in the first six months, the payment must be returned. This double focus on velocity and solidity reflects TCS's plan for meeting surging demand from recent multi-billion-dollar deals, such as a major outsourcing contract with Aviva, a UK insurer.

The plan also mirrors a bigger industry trend: lateral hires are in, and the freshers' job is taking a backseat as IT titans chase veterans to fuel digital transformation drives.
