Infosys founder N.R. Narayana Murthy has urged the UK and India to join forces in creating groundbreaking technologies that can empower the world. He stressed that science and innovation should form the foundation of their partnership. During the launch of Imperial Global India in Bengaluru, Murthy imagined “innovation corridors” that would connect startups, universities, and industries from both countries to address global challenges and foster progress.
He pointed out the importance of collaboration based on ethics, equity, and sustainability, encouraging both nations to draw on their shared history and future for the greater good. The new Imperial Global India hub is set to promote joint research, student exchanges, and key initiatives in fields like AI, quantum science, biotech, and clean energy—paving the way for solutions to tackle climate change, health issues, and more.
Leaders from the UK and India echoed Murthy’s vision, emphasizing that these partnerships will generate skilled jobs, stimulate economic growth, and encourage a vibrant exchange of ideas and talent on a global scale.
