Major telecom operators Airtel, Jio, and Vodafone Idea have introduced new prepaid plans exclusively for voice calls and SMS services. Airtel's offerings include an Rs 499 plan with 84-day validity and Rs 1,959 plan for 365 days, both featuring unlimited calls. Jio counters with similar plans at Rs 458 (84 days) and Rs 1,958 (365 days). Vi joins with a Rs 1,460 plan valid for 270 days. These plans, launched in response to TRAI's December directive, cater to users who don't need data services.
