Tera Software Limited, in partnership with ITI Limited, has won a significant work order of ₹1,901 crore under the BharatNet Phase-3 project, which is a big achievement in the digital infrastructure development of India. The contract for the Middle Mile Network – NER-II package has been awarded to the northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, and Manipur.

Key Highlights:
  • The ₹1,901 crore contract is under the government's ambitious BharatNet Phase-3 project, which will offer broadband connectivity to 2,50,000 Gram Panchayats in India.
  • The scope of the project involves the design, supply, construction, installation, upgradation, operation, and maintenance of the Middle Mile Network infrastructure in the said northeastern states.
  • Tera Software's joint venture with ITI Limited has now acquired aggregate orders valued at ₹7,005 crore from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), demonstrating its increasing footprint in big-ticket national connectivity projects.
The agreement follows the Design-Build-Operate-Maintain (DBOM) model, providing end-to-end accountability for quality and service continuity throughout the project's duration.

This victory further solidifies Tera Software's standing as a top player in India's e-governance and digital infrastructure industry, with its experience with past BharatNet and state-level IT assignments.

This historic order is likely to boost digital inclusion in the Northeast, facilitating the Digital Bharat Nidhi vision of the government and propelling Tera Software's growth path.
