Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy Thamma continues its winning streak, collecting ₹78.60 crore in just five days. The film saw a strong jump in numbers on Day 5, outperforming recent releases and solidifying its place in Maddock Films’ expanding horror-comedy universe.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar and produced by Dinesh Vijan, Thamma blends horror and romance with a quirky twist—Ayushmann plays a vampire who falls in love with Rashmika’s character. Released during the festive Diwali weekend, the film opened to packed theatres and earned ₹24 crore on Day 1. Despite a slight midweek dip, Day 5 saw a resurgence with ₹13 crore added to its total, bringing the domestic collection to ₹78.60 crore.
