Training the Brain: Woxsen & Sixs Unlock Mental Muscle in First-of-Its-Kind Lab

Woxsen University, in association with SixS Sports, unveiled India's maiden Brain Training Lab-a breakthrough lab that incorporates neuroscience, biomechanics, and sports learning to enhance the performance of sports persons. Unveiled on May 2, 2025, in the presence of ex-cricketer MSK Prasad, the lab seeks to enhance concentration, reaction time, and decision-making for sports persons across all sports.

 

The lab features state-of-the-art technologies including the Xsens Motion Capture System, smart plantar pressure sensor insoles, and surface electromyography, offering real-time 3D motion analysis and biomechanics optimization. It is also complemented by mentoring programs and affiliation with leading sportspersons like Anju Bobby George and Pullela Gopichand, who valued the lab's ability in facilitating holistic athlete development.

 

Woxsen's Brain Training Lab is a novel benchmark for Indian sports science, aiming to develop mental along with physical excellence for India's future champions.
