LG is taking a creative approach to spreading positivity with its new “Radio Optimism” campaign. The idea is simple: use music to help people connect in a world that often feels more digital than personal.
-
The campaign comes at a time when, according to LG’s global research, most people feel it’s harder than ever to make real friends—even though we’re all constantly online. In fact, 68% of people in the study said making meaningful connections is tough, and a third had barely one close interaction in the last month.
-
“Radio Optimism” is inspired by the way classic radio once brought people together through music and shared stories. Now, LG is using AI tools to let anyone create and send personalized songs. You just give the tool a few prompts, and it generates a unique track and album art you can send to a friend or share with the world.
-
The campaign is about more than just sharing music—it’s about making real, emotional connections. LG wants people to go beyond likes and emojis and actually reach out to someone with a song that means something.
-
This follows LG’s earlier “Optimism your feed” campaign, which encouraged people to fill their social media with more positive content.
-
The “Radio Optimism” website is already live in English and Spanish, with more languages coming soon so even more people can join in.
-
LG hopes this will help people feel a little closer, even if they’re far apart, and remind everyone that “Life’s Good” is more than just a slogan—it’s something we can share.
