The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) provides e-Aadhaar, a password-protected electronic version of the Aadhaar card. Legally valid across India, it can be downloaded instantly via the UIDAI website or mAadhaar app. This digital format ensures convenience, security, and accessibility, reducing reliance on physical Aadhaar cards.
India’s digital governance push has made identity verification seamless with e-Aadhaar. This secure, password-protected PDF version of Aadhaar is digitally signed by UIDAI and holds the same legal validity as the physical card. It is widely accepted for banking, travel, and government services.
