UBL cited TGBCL's failure to revise the basic price of its beer since the 2019-20 fiscal year, leading to significant financial losses. Additionally, substantial overdue payments for past supplies remain unsettled. This suspension is expected to impact beer availability in Telangana, where UBL holds a substantial market share. The company's stock experienced a decline of over 4% following the announcement.
