Vaswani Industries Powers Up: CGECB Approves Massive 3x Capacity Expansion in MS Billets

Vaswani Industries Ltd has received a significant regulatory nod from the Chhattisgarh Environment Conservation Board (CGECB) to expand its manufacturing capacity. According to the company's disclosure, CGECB granted approval for an additional Mild Steel (MS) Billet production capacity of 1,05,000 tonnes per annum (TPA). This new capacity will supplement the existing 36,000 TPA, bringing the total approved capacity to 1,41,000 TPA. The approval was officially communicated to Vaswani Industries through a letter dated October 28, 2025, which the company received on November 18, 2025.

 

This approval aligns with the Environment Clearance earlier issued by CGECB, ensuring compliance with environmental standards as Vaswani scales operations. The increased capacity underscores Vaswani’s strategy to ramp up production and meet rising demand in the steel sector, potentially enhancing its market share and operational efficiency.
