India-born British restaurateur Asma Khan has added another remarkable achievement to her name, joining 194 other women from every country on the planet in a song that just set a new Guinness World Record. The track, titled “195,” features one woman from each nation and was created to shine a spotlight on gender equality and mental health.

Key Highlights:

The “195” project was produced by The Frequency School, a global team co-founded by Grammy-nominated producer Maejor and journalist Martina Fuchs. The song premiered at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, and is now officially recognized for featuring the most nationalities in a single musical recording.

Asma Khan, known for her London restaurant Darjeeling Express and her all-female kitchen, represented India in the song. She is also celebrated for her appearance on Netflix’s “Chef’s Table” and was named one of TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in 2024.

The song’s creators wanted to unite women from every walk of life in a powerful call for gender equality and support for those facing mental health struggles. The track uses sound healing frequencies, including the 528 Hz “Love Frequency,” to amplify its message of hope and unity.

Khan’s participation underscores her ongoing advocacy for women’s rights and empowerment, both in and out of the kitchen. She also serves as a chef advocate for the UN World Food Programme and holds honorary fellowships at Oxford and King’s College London.

Organizers say breaking the record is just the beginning, with plans to keep using music as a force for global peace and positive change.
