Yogandhra 11 & PSN-5: Andhra Pradesh Unveils New Mango Varieties with a Wellness Twist

Andhra Pradesh has introduced two new mango varieties, Yogandhra 11 and PSN-5, named during a special event at Sri Satyadeva Nursery in Kadiyam, East Godavari district. The launch was part of the Yogandhra program, organized by the Ayush Department and Sir Arthur Cotton Association, emphasizing the importance of yoga and wellness in daily life.
Tourism Minister Kandula Durgesh and East Godavari District Collector P. Prashanthi led the naming ceremony, highlighting the stress-relieving benefits of yoga and its connection to healthy living. Officials stressed that yoga should be a continuous practice, not just a temporary activity.
The event also featured the unveiling of Elite Anti-Narcotics Group for Law Enforcement (EAGLE) posters, promoting drug awareness and rehabilitation measures.
