Over 1 Crore Expected to Participate in Ram Navami Rallies in West Bengal

This year, Ram Navami celebrations in West Bengal are expected to draw over 1 crore participants across approximately 2,000 rallies on April 6. Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari announced this ambitious target, emphasizing that no permission is needed to celebrate the festival. Last year, about 500,000 people participated in around 1,000 rallies. The event has sparked political reactions, with opposition parties accusing the BJP of divisive tactics. Despite this, the festival is anticipated to be one of the largest in recent years, reflecting growing religious fervor in the state.
