PFC Expands with New Subsidiaries as Parminder Chopra Takes Helm at REC

Power Finance Corporation (PFC) has announced the incorporation of two new subsidiaries through its wholly-owned subsidiary PFC Consulting Limited. This strategic move aims to strengthen PFC's presence in the power sector. Simultaneously, Parminder Chopra, the current CMD of PFC, has been assigned additional charge as CMD of REC Limited for three months, effective March 21, 2025. Chopra, who became PFC's first woman CMD in August 2023, brings over 35 years of experience in the power and financial sectors. Her leadership is expected to drive synergies between PFC and REC, enhancing India's power and infrastructure financing ecosystem.
