Porsche Turns Time Into Tribute: 90 Years Honored With GT3-Inspired Chronograph

On December 11, 2025, Ferdinand Alexander Porsche—the designer of the original 911—would have turned 90. To honor his legacy, Porsche Design introduced the Chronograph 1 – 90 Years of F. A. Porsche, a timepiece inspired by the anniversary-edition 911 GT3 Touring.

Limited to 90 pieces, the chronograph reflects Porsche’s design philosophy of “honest design” while echoing the dashboard-inspired aesthetics of the 1972 Chronograph 1. Crafted with a matte black dial, integrated bracelet silhouette, and precision movement, the watch embodies both heritage and innovation.  

Collector’s edition car  
The commemorative 911 GT3, produced by Porsche Sonderwunsch, further complements the tribute, with only 90 units available worldwide. Both the car and the watch symbolize Porsche’s ability to merge automotive excellence with lifestyle innovation.
