In a groundbreaking milestone for India's semiconductor industry, Kaynes Semicon Private Limited – a wholly owned subsidiary of Kaynes Technology India Limited – has rolled out and shipped 900 units of India's first commercially manufactured Intelligent Power Module (IPM5) Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs) from its state-of-the-art OSAT facility in Sanand, Gujarat. This transformational achievement, realized under the India Semiconductor Mission 1.0, firmly places India on the global semiconductor manufacturing map.

The IPM5 is a highly sophisticated semiconductor device that integrates 17 dies within a single compact module. This includes six IGBTs (Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistors), two controller ICs, six FRDs (Fast Recovery Diodes), and three diodes, designed to efficiently control motors and power applications in industrial and consumer systems.
