President Murmu to Celebrate Swami Dayanand Saraswati's Legacy at 200th Birth Anniversary

President Droupadi Murmu will grace the 200th birth anniversary function of Swami Dayanand Saraswati, the founder of Arya Samaj, on February 12 in Tankara, Gujarat. The function organized by Arya Samaj will have more than two lakh members globally attending it, testifying to the long-lasting influence of Saraswati's teachings. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will speak to the gathering remotely on February 11, with other guests such as Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat and Union Home Minister Amit Shah joining in different segments of the three-day celebration. The commemoration highlights Swami Dayanand Saraswati's important contribution to Indian philosophical and cultural heritage.
