Punjab Govt Rolls Out Ramazan Relief—Thousands in Sialkot to Benefit

Deputy Commissioner, Muhammad Zulqarnain Langrial announced that 112,300 families will receive Rs. 10,000 constituted in relief under Ramazan package by the Punjab government in the Sialkot district. The relief funds will be handed over through pay orders, ensuring transparent delivery of relief funds to the deserving families. It is a provincial initiative which has three million families in the Punjab province worth Rs. 30 billion. The distribution process started on 2 March 2025; pay orders were issued by the Bank of Punjab every day to Pakistan Post for delivery into the hands of eligible families as insured letters.
