Qatar's Amir Honored with Grand Reception at Rashtrapati Bhavan During State Visit

Qatar's Amir Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad AL Thani was accorded a ceremonial welcome at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi today. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the Qatari leader, who is on a two-day state visit to India. The Amir received a Guard of Honour and interacted with senior Indian ministers. This visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties between India and Qatar, with discussions on various aspects of cooperation scheduled. The Amir's delegation includes ministers, senior officials, and business representatives. Prime Minister Modi had personally received Sheikh Tamim at the airport on Monday, describing him as a "brother" and expressing hopes for fruitful talks.
