Race Against Time: Green Corridor Speeds Kidney to Waiting Recipient

Indore created its 63rd green corridor on Friday in a wonderful coordination of medical help for a kidney transplant that would save a life. A 44-year-old woman got a new lease of life through a kidney transplanted from a brain-dead person from Jabalpur. The organ was rushed by an air ambulance that landed at Indore Airport at 11:38 AM. The green corridor ensured that the kidney reached Bombay Hospital within 18 minutes. The surgery began right after arrival. The successful operation showcases how organ donation and green corridors play a pivotal role in the saving of lives.
