RailTel Secures ₹47.5 Crore Contract from East Central Railway

On March 7, 2025, RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a leading ICT and broadband service provider under the Ministry of Railways, announced that it has secured a significant work order from East Central Railway. The contract, valued at ₹47.5 crore (including tax), involves the design, manufacturing, supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of an Electronic Interlocking System in the Dhanbad Division. This project aims to enhance the safety and efficiency of train operations in the region. The project is expected to be executed by March 6, 2026.
