RAK Ruler Champions Economic Partnerships as Catalysts for Growth

His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, reaffirmed the pivotal role of economic and investment partnerships in driving sustainable development and business prosperity. During a high-profile meeting at his palace in Saqr Bin Mohammed City, Sheikh Saud welcomed Sybille Pfaff, Consul General of Germany in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, alongside a delegation from the German-Emirati Joint Council for Industry and Commerce.  

The discussions centered on strengthening bilateral trade, investment, and innovation between Ras Al Khaimah and Germany. Officials from the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone highlighted the emirate’s rapid infrastructure and industrial growth, emphasizing its appeal as a global business hub.  

A key moment of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between RAKEZ and AHK, aimed at fostering strategic collaboration, supporting German enterprises, and enhancing international business connectivity. The agreement underscores Ras Al Khaimah’s commitment to creating a competitive and investor-friendly environment.  

The meeting also explored future cooperation opportunities, with German companies expressing optimism about expanding their footprint in the region. Sheikh Saud’s leadership continues to position Ras Al Khaimah as a rising destination for corporate growth and economic innovation.
