Ride the Startup Wave: ₹30 Crore Up for Grabs in Maha Rathi Challenge - Will Your Startup Be the Next Big Thing?

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has introduced the Startup Maha Rathi challenge, promising a ₹30 crore prize kitty to enable Indian entrepreneurs. This challenge is one of the key initiatives of the second edition of Startup Mahakumbh that will offer funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities in 11 sectors. Applications are available between February 26 and March 7, 2025, with virtual pitches between March 15-25. The final event will be held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, from April 3-5, 2025. Selected startups can avail themselves of up to ₹10 lakh funding, as well as expert advice and access to investors. This challenge fits into India's vision of a developed economy by 2047.
