Rugby’s Power Shift: Scotland Falls, France Rises, Six Nations Champions Crowned

The Six Nations rugby competition, a top-level international tournament in the northern hemisphere, has a long history dating back to 1883. England is top with the highest number of outright championships, claiming 29 titles, followed by Wales with 28. France has 18 outright titles, while Ireland and Scotland have 16 and 15, respectively. Italy, which joined in 2000, is still without a championship victory. Recent years have witnessed Ireland winning a Grand Slam in 2023 and also in 2024. The competition has advanced from its initial "Home Nations" structure to the existing Six Nations format. The competition still manages to thrill audiences with its fierce competitions and ancient rivalries.
