Sacred Swipes: Swiggy Instamart's Devotional Detour on Mahashivratri

For Mahashivratri, Swiggy Instamart, with some of its non-vegetarian deliveries suspended in Pune, Delhi, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad, ventured to fuse technology with tradition to provide something really Spiritual: the delivery of sacred Tandool Mahaprasad Ladoos from the legendary Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple to the devotees spread over 40 cities. CEO Amitesh Jha remarked that the intent of the platform was to bring home spiritual experience, right at the doorstep. Besides prasad, Swiggy Instamart launched a specialized Mahashivratri selection that included Lord Shiva figurines and fasting items, and this was a further example of how modern delivery platforms can adapt and add to traditional religious observances in the digital age.
