Sagar Cements Invests in Green Energy: ₹800 Million Waste Heat Recovery Project Approved

Sagar Cements Ltd has approved a major green initiative, sanctioning a 4.30 MW Waste Heat Recovery Power System for an estimated ₹800 million. The project, to be executed in 18 months, reflects the company's focus on sustainable operations and energy conservation. This investment is part of Sagar Cements' continued drive to grow its green energy portfolio, which already consists of solar, hydro, and present waste heat recovery systems at its plants. The new system will most probably be set up at one of the company's factories, lowering its carbon emissions and operational expense even further. This action further solidifies Sagar Cements' leadership in embracing green technologies in the cement sector.
