• Out of more than 93,000 seat allocations made for 71,624 available UG seats, over 72,600 students had accepted their seats by Sunday evening, July 20, according to official updates. Acceptance rates surged as the system opened, with more than 27,000 students locking in seats within just two hours of the list going live.

• The top picks remain BCom (Hons), BA (Hons) Political Science, BA (Hons) Psychology, and BSc (Hons) Computer Science at premier colleges such as Hindu College, SRCC, Miranda House, Hansraj College, and Lady Shri Ram.

• The university’s unique supernumerary quotas and affirmative action are reflected in the numbers: 1,325 single girl child candidates and 259 orphans (127 female, 132 male) secured seats, alongside significant allocations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, Sikh minority, PwBD, and Kashmiri Migrant categories.

• Seats are allocated entirely based on CUET (UG) 2025 scores, subject combinations, and candidate preferences as recorded in the CSAS portal.

• The window for students to accept seats closes July 21, and colleges will verify submitted documents until July 22. Successful candidates must pay their admission fees by July 23 to confirm their spot and avoid exclusion from future rounds.

• Those seeking a higher preference can choose to float their seat; unsatisfied students may participate in subsequent rounds, with the next list and the ‘preference change’ window opening July 24.

• Vacant seat information will be released, and round 2 allocations are set for July 28.
