Singaporean Secrets: Maharashtra Educators to Unlock Global Teaching Techniques!

The state government of Maharashtra has proposed sending 50 teachers to Singapore under a program to study and adopt international best practices in school education. This follows the state government's strategy of improving teaching standards and learning outcomes in schools. The teachers will undergo workshops and study tours to learn about Singapore's innovative pedagogy and successful education programs. Singapore's highly effective education system is known for its emphasis on teacher autonomy and strict training.

 

This partnership comes after a series of successful educational exchanges between Singapore and India, including the "Early Childhood Education Curriculum Enhancement and Pedagogy" project, which has already impacted thousands of teachers in Maharashtra. The government of Maharashtra plans to incorporate these best practices into its 100-day school action plan on holistic student development and infrastructure upgradation.
