Sky-High Savings: Woman Flies to Work Daily and Still Spends Less Than Rent!

In Malaysia, Racheal Kaur, an assistant manager at AirAsia, commutes daily by plane from Penang to Kuala Lumpur. She begins her day at 4 a.m., catching a 5:55 a.m. flight to reach her office by 7:45 a.m. Despite the early hours, this routine allows her to spend evenings with her two children, aged 11 and 12. Financially, this arrangement is beneficial; previously, she spent around RM1,400 to RM1,500 monthly on rent in Kuala Lumpur. Now, her monthly travel expenses are approximately RM1,100, resulting in savings. Kaur values the balance this commute provides between her professional responsibilities and family life.
