Snow Much Success: India Bags 5 Medals at Special Olympics

India has maintained its stellar performance at the Special Olympics World Winter Games 2025 in Turin, Italy. Having got off to a good start with four medals on the first day, comprising two gold and two silver in snowboarding, India has now added another medal to its count. The Indian delegation, consisting of 30 sportspersons and 19 officials, is representing India in six sports disciplines: alpine skiing, cross-country skiing, floorball, short-track speed skating, snowboarding, and snowshoeing. With over 1,500 competitors from 102 nations, the event is known to be encouraging inclusivity as well as sporting representation. Through the ongoing progression of the games, India's sportspersons are certain to continue reflecting the country's medal tally and demonstrating their sportsmanship and persistence.
