Sridevi, the iconic actress and Bollywood’s first female superstar, made history by being the first Indian actress to earn ₹1 crore per film during the 1980s and 1990s. In an era when male actors typically commanded higher salaries, Sridevi shattered norms, often earning more than her male counterparts and transforming the concept of stardom. Her remarkable career spanned over fifty years, featuring nearly 300 films in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada cinema.
