Star Cement Secures Boro Hundong Limestone Block in Assam

Star Cement Limited has been declared the preferred bidder for the North Boro Hundong Limestone Block (Part-A) in Assam. The block spans 200 hectares and holds an estimated 192.36 million tonnes of limestone, enhancing Star Cement's resource base and supply chain security. This strategic acquisition bolsters the company's position in the Northeast cement market, where it commands significant capacity alongside Dalmia Cement. The move supports Star Cement's expansion plans and reinforces its leadership in the region.
