Sundaram Home Finance has opened a new branch in Tambaram, Chennai, as a part of its Emerging Business segment expansion strategy. The company is targeting disbursals of ₹50 crore in the Chennai region in the next 12 months, with an emphasis on affordable housing and small business loans. This expansion is based on the increasing real estate market in Tambaram, fuelled by urbanization and development of infrastructure. The new division will cover areas such as Selaiyur, Mudichur, and Perungalathur, extending loans in accordance with regional requirements. Sundaram Home Finance's expansion is a testimony to its belief in catering to small business and homebuyer needs in new markets.
