Surrey Retains Majority Stake in Oval Invincibles Amid Reliance Partnership

 

Surrey County Cricket Club (SCCC) has confirmed it will retain a 51% majority stake in The Hundred franchise Oval Invincibles, while Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), through its subsidiary RISE Worldwide, acquires a 49% share for £60 million. The deal values the franchise at £123 million. Surrey aims to leverage Mumbai Indians' global expertise to maintain the Invincibles' dominance, having won four consecutive titles. This partnership marks RIL's seventh cricket franchise, expanding its global cricket footprint.
