Tembo Global Industries Secures ₹595 Crore Solar Project with Maharashtra Government

Tembo Global Industries Ltd. has secured its first Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Co. Ltd. for a 124 MW solar power project, valued at approximately ₹595 crore. This initiative is part of the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0, aiming to implement feeder-level solarization under the PM-KUSUM Scheme. The project is slated for completion within 18 months, with the PPA extending for 25 years post-completion. This strategic move marks Tembo Global's entry into the renewable energy sector, complementing its existing expertise in engineering mechanics and project execution across various industries.
