Terminal Bliss: Delhi Airport's T3 Expansion to Make Travel a Breeze

Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) is undertaking a huge expansion at Terminal 3, making it an international aviation hub. At the heart of this is the new 'Pier E', increasing passenger annual capacity from 45 million to 55 million. The project, worth Rs 1,661.98 crore, comprises 12 contact stands and 6 remote stands. A currently operational domestic pier will also be repurposed for use on the international front, expanding global connectivity. The expansion is one of the larger upgrades, such as Terminal 2 renovations and enhanced runway operations. These upgrades will make Delhi Airport a leading international hub, competing with Singapore Airport in flights to Europe and North America.
