The Future of Logistics: Concor's Vision for a ₹18,000 Crore Empire

Union Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has given ambitious targets to the Container Corporation of India (Concor) to take its terminal network to 100 and double revenue to ₹18,000 crore. Concor currently has 66 terminals and had previously aimed to take this to 80 by 2028, but the minister has set a more aggressive target. Vaishnaw highlighted the importance of a customer-centric orientation and full cargo operations to increase Indian Railways' share of cargo from 29% to 35%. The Railway Board has promised availability of land for this growth in line with India's vision for an efficient multimodal logistics ecosystem.
