The Unstoppable Force: Priya Konjengbam Takes on the World at All England 2025!

Manipur’s Priya Konjengbam has become the first badminton player from the Northeast region to qualify for the prestigious All England Badminton Championship. Partnering with Shruti Mishra in women’s doubles, Priya will compete against South Korea’s defending champions Baek Ha Na and Lee So Hee in the opening round at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena. Her qualification follows a stellar performance at the 2024 Asian Badminton Women’s Team Championship, where India claimed gold by defeating Thailand. Priya’s achievement is a proud moment for Indian badminton, inspiring athletes from underrepresented regions.
