Leadership Change and Ceremony

The installation ceremony was attended by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, along with other industry leaders such as Satish Magar, Sunil Furde, Rajendra Singh Jabinda, Shantilal Katariya, and Rajiv Parikh.

Prafulla Taware, a Baramati-based civil engineer and developer, was installed as the new President of CREDAI Maharashtra, taking over from Pramod Khairnar.

The new leadership team is dedicated to spearheading innovation, inclusivity, and integrity in the real estate industry.

The occasion included a press conference jointly with CREDAI Pune, CREDAI Maharashtra, and CREDAI National, chaired by Kapil Gandhi.

Vision and Priorities for 2025–27

Empowering Tier 2 and Tier 3 Cities: President Prafulla Taware underlined strategic thinking towards the development of smaller cities to decentralize growth and bring new opportunities in Maharashtra.

Policy Advocacy and Regulatory Reforms: The new leadership will focus on advocating amendments in relevant acts and regulations to streamline processes and enhance the ease of doing business.

Skill Development Initiatives: CREDAI Pune announced the establishment of a center of excellence to provide skill-based training to construction workers, with a target of training two lakh workers annually, leveraging government and CSR funds.

Affordable Housing to All: Manish Jain, President of CREDAI-Pune Metro, reaffirmed the resolve to making housing affordable, accessible, and available to all citizens and demanded more government support.

Consumer-Oriented Strategy: The new leadership will try to boost investor and consumer confidence through ethical and transparent practices.

Sustainability and Technology: Priority will be given to environmental clearances, water supply, implementing latest technologies, and automation in order to enhance construction quality, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

National Perspective and Good Wishes

Best wishes from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah were conveyed by Ranjit Naiknavare, just elected Vice-President of CREDAI National, as he linked the agenda of the state to the national vision of "Housing for All".

CREDAI National's five-point "Viksit Bharat" agenda comprises skilling, data-led decision-making, reforestation, redefining affordable housing, and ease of doing business.

Attendance and Industry Impact

The event was attended by more than 600 member developers from 61 cities, reflecting Pune's dominance in Maharashtra's urban development.

The new team has plans to finish current projects and launch impactful activities to define the future of the state's real estate industry.
