Tripura Takes a Bold Step: Harnessing Bhashini AI to Empower Regional Languages and Digital Inclusion

The Bhashini initiative will find a willing signatory in the form of an MoU with the state of Tripura, the first in Northeast India. In this agreement, the use of AI technology is to promote regional languages and bring about digital participation. It would mean providing unfettered internet access in local languages, bridging the divide, and empowering people to participate more fully in the virtual world. This project, in itself, is a giant stride towards inclusivity and cultural preservation in a region.
