UNGA President Yang Commends India's Decade of Transformation

UN General Assembly President Philemon Yang has lauded India's remarkable transformation over the past decade, emphasizing the nation's advancements in digital and technological innovation. Yang is set to visit India from February 4 to 8, marking his first official trip as UNGA President. During his visit, he plans to engage with Indian leadership, including President Droupadi Murmu and External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar, to discuss India's role in multilateralism and sustainable development. Yang also aims to observe how digital tools have enhanced public health services at a District Vaccine Store in Gautam Buddha Nagar.
