Unstoppable at 71! Cancer Survivor Conquers Tata Mumbai Marathon Half Marathon

Savio D’Souza, a 71-year-old renowned running coach from Mumbai, showcased remarkable resilience by completing the 21 km half marathon at the Tata Mumbai Marathon 2025. Diagnosed with colon cancer in December 2022, D’Souza underwent extensive treatment, including surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. His unwavering determination and commitment to fitness played a pivotal role in his recovery. Crossing the finish line in 2 hours and 28 minutes, D’Souza's achievement stands as a testament to the human spirit's ability to overcome adversity.
