UST Shines at Indian CSR Awards 2025 with Water and Social Impact Wins

UST, a global AI and technology transformation leader, was honored with two prestigious awards at the Indian CSR Awards 2025 for its outstanding contributions toward water conservation and social inclusion. The company received accolades for the “Most Impactful Save Water Initiative of the Year” and “Education, Health and Livelihood Initiatives for People with Disabilities (PWDs).” This marks UST’s fourth consecutive recognition at these awards, underscoring its unwavering commitment to sustainable and community-focused CSR activities.

 

Key highlights:

 

UST’s water conservation efforts included the rejuvenation of Hettanahalli Lake in Karnataka and Karanai Thangal Lake in Tamil Nadu, restoring 60 acres and conserving approximately 170 billion gallons of water.

 

Project Paryavarna restored multiple water troughs for wildlife in Coimbatore, alongside other watershed programs blending scientific methods and volunteer efforts.

 

Over the past three years, UST has executed six water body conservation projects across Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka.

 

In social inclusion, UST’s impactful programs include SkillSync vocational training for children on the autism spectrum and the UST-V Able Scholarship Program supporting 167 students with disabilities across six states.

 

The company has upgraded infrastructure benefiting nearly 170 special school students and provided assistive mobility devices to PWDs.

 

Collaborations with nonprofits such as Vidhyadhan, Academy for Severe Handicaps and Autism, and RampMyCity Foundation have enabled wider outreach and effective delivery.
