Vande Bharat Sleeper Trains Set for Historic Launch: Revolutionary Long-Distance Travel Coming in 2025

India's first Vande Bharat Sleeper train has successfully completed high-speed trials, reaching speeds of 180 km/h on the Kota-Nagda section. The revolutionary 16-car trainset, accommodating 823 passengers, will feature world-class amenities including First-Class AC, 2-Tier AC, and 3-Tier AC options. Indian Railways plans to launch 10 new sleeper variants by 2025-26, with initial routes likely connecting major cities like New Delhi-Pune and New Delhi-Srinagar.
