Vibhor Steel Tubes' Odisha Plant Nears Completion, Set to Boost Production Capacity

Vibhor Steel Tubes Limited's Unit III in Odisha is fully prepared but not yet operational. The company had initially aimed to commence operations by the end of January 2025, but unforeseen delays in securing the electricity connection have pushed the timeline. All other construction and setup activities have been completed, and the company is actively coordinating with authorities to expedite the electricity connection process.

The new Odisha facility, once operational, will significantly boost Vibhor Steel Tubes' production capacity. It will increase the company's annual manufacturing capacity by 120,000 MT, bringing the total capacity to 341,000 MT. This expansion is part of Vibhor Steel's strategic growth plan, which includes focusing on the production of 14-inch pipes, crash barriers, and various pole types.

While the company is facing a slight delay, it is still on track to have the Odisha unit operational in the near future, likely by the end of March 2025. This expansion is expected to strengthen Vibhor Steel's market presence and improve its competitive edge in the steel industry, particularly in the infrastructure sector.
