Historical drama "Chhaava" starring Vicky Kaushal keeps pace with its string of box-office records, netting more than Rs. 350 crore at the global level by its ninth day. It has crossed recent superhits "Singham Again" and "Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior's" collections. On its second Saturday, "Chhaava" registered an unprecedented 87% growth and earned Rs. 44 crore in India itself. With a cumulative domestic collection of Rs. 286.75 crore, the film is on the cusp of joining the much-coveted Rs. 300 crore club. "Chhaava" has turned out to be Vicky Kaushal's highest-grossing film ever, establishing him as a box office kingpin. The success of the movie can be accredited to robust word-of-mouth and consistent audience demand in top cities.
