VIL has consistently maintained that it disagrees with these orders and plans to take appropriate action for rectification or reversal.This development comes as VIL struggles with massive debt and declining market share. The company recently won a significant legal battle, with the Supreme Court upholding a ₹1,600 crore tax refund, providing some financial relief amidst its ongoing challenges.
