Wind setback: Inox Green weighs appeal after CERC order

Inox Green responds to CERC order on Gujarat wind project  
Inox Green Energy Services Ltd has clarified reports regarding the loss of grid access for its 300 MW wind project in Gujarat. The Central Transmission Utility of India (CTUIL) revoked connectivity at the Bhuj-II pooling station in March 2025 after commissioning delays, a decision later upheld by the CERC.  

The regulator noted that Inox Green failed to achieve financial closure or make significant progress despite repeated extensions, leading to encashment of bank guarantees worth ₹3.5 crore. Inox Green emphasized that the order does not materially affect its operations and confirmed it is evaluating all legal remedies, including filing an appeal before the Appellate Tribunal for Electricity.
