Yogi's Solar Vision: UP's Municipal Corporations Go Green

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath announced schemes to make all municipal corporations in the state solar cities. The project is a part of the state's plan to produce 22,000 MW of clean power. Ayodhya has already been shaped as the first solar city of the state with a production of 6,000 MW of clean energy. Bundelkhand is also creating a green energy corridor with a capacity of 5,000 MW. The action prioritizes green urban development and citizen participation in protecting the environment. Attainment of India's net-zero goal by 2070 demands unified action on all levels.
